Who We Are

We seek out the finest specialty coffee grown in the world each year, including the best organic, Fair Trade, and shade grown Arabicas as part of our mission to embody a spirit of excellence in our craft. Eagle River Roasters offers small batch expertly crafted coffees for the retail and wholesale market. We enjoy helping other coffee house owners and retailers to discover a signature coffee blend of their own, and offer various packaging options to suit.

Eagle River Roasters founder, Dan Beihoff began his artisan journey with a desire to build a company focused on producing exceptional coffee and sharing it with others. He acquired a "well seasoned" Probat L12 drum roaster, which he shipped in from Germany in 2004, and set about mastering roasting, testing and cupping the many varietals of coffee. With that refinement came memberships in the Specialty Coffee Association (S.C.A.) and Roasters Guild, the establishment of Eagle River Roasters Coffee House, and our signature line of Artisan Blend Coffees and Espresso. 

As craft small batch coffee roasters, we realize our personal values are reflected in how we operate, and directly impact the people and communities we interact with. Through our work, we support and share in the efforts of local non-profit groups, churches, student organizations, job training for those with special needs, social outreach programs and ministries. Eagle River Roasters is especially honored to provide fundraising coffee and tea to Angel On My Shoulder organization (a foundation that seeks to improve the quality of life of those living with or affected by cancer) and F.R.U.A. (Families For Russian & Ukrainian Adoption's orphanage support projects).

Eagle River Roasters was founded upon a passionate appreciation for Coffea Arabica, one of the most extraordinary plants to come from God's green earth. Our mission is to embody a spirit of excellence in our craft with a heart for the peoples and regions of the world that produce the finest coffees.
